Half Lion Brewing Company contacted us, wanting to consolidate their tools to one system, a single pane of glass. They were using multiple platforms for activities such as file sharing, file storage, email, calendars, and more. Tools which could be replaced with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business (included with Microsoft 365).

After a few discovery calls to learn and gather details about their existing environment, our team presented the best path forward for them to combine their solutions with our Microsoft 365 packaged migration services. We successfully migrated their email solution to Exchange Online.
Given the small amount of data in their document management solutions, and it being the most cost-effective option, we recommended they have their end-users perform the migration of each of their documents to the new location.
The Migration
We leveraged our Microsoft 365 packaged migration services to migrate their email to Exchange Online. Taking them from point A to point B, with as little business interruption and data loss as possible, making for a seamless transition to Microsoft Cloud.
Our team always works with a copy of the customer’s data, to ensure it’s business-as-usual for the end-users. Meaning they can keep working while we work on the back end, until the time of the cutover comes.
The Cutover
This is when users stop using their previous tools and, in cases such as this, start logging in to Exchange Online to check their email.
The duration of a project depends on the particulars of what we are migrating. For Half Lion, specifically, who had 18 mailboxes (15 personal and 3 shared, all of them below 50 GB), our team made an estimate of 2-weeks.
The Results
At the conclusion of this project, Half Lion Brewing Company was able to continue with their historical email in Exchange Online and had the necessary knowledge about Microsoft 365 to make the most out of their investment.
