New capabilities in Adoption Score for IT admins
Microsoft Adoption Score is a tool that helps organizations measure the level of adoption of Microsoft 365 products and services among their employees. It provides insights and recommendations to improve user engagement, productivity, and collaboration by analyzing data such as usage, activity, and feedback. Now, this 2023, you can discover the new capabilities in Adoption Score for IT admins to leverage your Microsoft 365 experience.
What are the new capabilities in Adoption Score?
As we know, Adoption Score access data and analyzes how users are using apps and services in Microsoft 365. Based upon that, it reveals a score, which ranges from 0 to 100 and is based on several factors, such as the number of active users, frequency of use, and the extent to which users are taking advantage of the features available. The higher the adoption score, the more effectively organizations can leverage their investment in Microsoft 365 to achieve their business objectives.
Meeting insights
In this new hybrid work era, meetings per week increased by 153% globally in Teams. To help admins to understand their meeting analytics better, Microsoft is releasing an updated Meeting page under People Experiences.
Group-level aggregates
We know that across your organization, there may be different requirements and workstyles. Upon that scope, Adoption Score will allow you to see nuances in each of your business groups, by adding Group-level aggregates to Communication, Content collaboration, and Mobility with support for Meetings and Teamwork to follow. You may filter by five Azure Active Directory (AD) attributes and gain new vision upon the recommended practices on Microsoft 365.
Organizational messages
This new feature enables IT admins to provide targeted in-product notifications to users based on Adoption Score insights, while maintaining user-level privacy. Organizational messages use templatized messages delivered through surfaces such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, advising users on Microsoft 365 recommended practices. Admins can choose from up to three message types and define when and how often they appear, while role-based access controls protect access to message creation and administration. This privacy-first approach anonymizes who receives the message, while still allowing admins to act. The feature will initially roll out to Communication, Content Collaboration, and Mobility.
User Experience Success Manager role
This new feature allows non-admins the possibility to access Experience Insights, Adoption Score, and the Message Center in the Microsoft 365 admin center. This will allow users from your organization to understand your on-going digital transformation better without admin functions.
